I want to use this page to describe how a configuration editor would work if the following where true:

• all programs have schemas for their arguments
• all config files have schemas for their format

We can also include what the schema of a config file would look like if the programs had schemas for their arguments. The generalization of that is how one schema can reference another.

I think this should be just a rehash of what I've written before. Perhaps this can be way to refactor the current pages:
